Spirit of Animo
In 2022, a career break in Valencia, Spain, led our founder, Brian, to an unexpected turning point: the Valencia Marathon. After a less-than-ideal preparation and a grueling race, one word shouted by strangers in the crowd—”ANIMO!”—kept him going. Though he crossed the finish line alone, stumbling and exhausted, that moment sparked a revelation. Animo, a word with no direct English translation, became the heartbeat of a new philosophy and company: Animo+ Education.
The marathon taught Brian that life isn’t about running alone or chasing the wrong motivations—it’s about finding the strength to keep going, supported by a community. Inspired by this, Animo+ Education was born to empower families—parents and children alike—to move, learn, and laugh together while unlocking their true potential.

If you chase butterflies, you will never catch them, you have to let them come to you. Find a good environment and tend to your garden. If you don’t have one yet, start where you are. One day plenty of flowers will blossom. Now is the time to nurture the seeds.
We see education as a garden. Seeds—representing children’s potential—need time, care, and the right environment to flourish. Like plants, kids thrive with consistent nurturing, a bit of fertilizer (even the unglamorous kind!), and freedom from stressors. Our role? To provide the tools and support so families can grow together.
Learning isn’t just from books or classrooms—it’s in the dirt, the experiences, and the moments that don’t go as planned. Through interdependence, we teach children and parents that working together is how we bloom.
